- I am a Montessori Directress at Hull-Jackson Montessori Magnet School. I was born in NY, grew up in NJ and came to Nashville to attend Vanderbilt University. After I graduated in 1998 with a B.S. in Special Ed (hearing impaired program) and Early Childhood Education, I worked at Westminster Toddlers & Twos with 2 & 3 year olds. After 6 years there, I came to HJ in 2004. When Belmont University began their Montessori education program in 2005, I jumped at the chance to become certified! I completed the program as well as my Masters degree and graduated in 2007. The same year I was married and my husband & I welcomed our daughter into the world in June 2009.
